Kyuk-Pa (Breaking) Competition Rules

General Rules: Individual /Team Competition

1. Individual competitors can break the number of boards they choose, nevertheless no more than three (3) breaking stations will be allowed by individual competitors.

2. Teams are allowed to perform up to six stations and unlimited number of boards.

3. Individual and team competitors will have 1 minute to set-up once called to the ring area.

4. If the competitors (individual or team) fails in the attempt to perform the breaking, he/she would have only a second chance.

5. Only boards provided by the organizing committee will be allowed.

 Judging Criteria

Techniques will be judged based on the difficulty of its execution and number of boards broken. Breaking at the first attempt will result in a higher amount of points awarded than breaking in a second attempt.
